NPR’s Allison Aubrey reports on the effects of mindfulness on emotion, autonomic responses like blood pressure, and brain plasticity. The article cites JKZ, from the UMASS center for Mindfulness, Jim Austin, and director of the hypertension program at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Randy Zusman .
